Arrival in Berlin

Arriving in Berlin

Coming to Berlin to stay?

Not sure where to start?

Confused about what you need to do to become a resident?

Let RAMPA demystify the process for you. We provide guidance on how to register your Berlin/Germany address (Anmeldung), as well as how to make an appointment at the citizens’ office (Bürgeramt). RAMPA can also give you tips on how to choose the best bank to open an account with and the right German language school to enrol at. Plus, most important of all, we can help you navigate the full residence permit process.

When it comes to searching for a job (Arbeitssuche) and a room or apartment (Wohnungssuche), we can advise you on both fronts! By listening carefully to your needs and budget, we will design the right strategy for you. We can also organise your documents, translate your CV into German, and write impactful cover letters in German… all maximising your chances of getting what you’re looking for!

We also offer a comprehensive follow-up service for after those first steps are behind you, and you can count on us to help you with all things German bureaucracy long after you have arrived!
