RAMPA: where German efficiency meets Brazilian warmth!

We — Marina, Natalia, and Tainá — are Brazilian Berliners: a group of friends who have called this wonderful city home for over a decade. Between us, we have been through just about every bureaucratic scenario imaginable, from securing visas to getting German citizenship.

Collectively, we share a wealth of both knowledge and experience in navigating German bureaucracy and, as RAMPA, we channel all of this into the insight, solidarity, and empathy we offer you. We are here to help you overcome bureaucracy and to get settled into your new life with peace of mind.

We care deeply about social inclusion, so are proud to provide you with highly practical help, quickly and transparently. Driven by our dream of a vibrant and flourishing international community, we get you the essential support you need to thrive in Berlin — or anywhere in Germany!

// MARINA FAÉ

Marina is the founder of RAMPA. An arts educator and musician from São Paulo, Brazil, she arrived in Berlin for the summer in 2007. Right away, Marina knew she had come to stay. So she did. She quickly learned the language, got a freelancer’s visa, and worked as an artist and set designer for ten years until she established herself as an art teacher in the German education system. In 2016, she became a German citizen. After she got a second degree (in Spanish from Berlin’s Humboldt University), and at the same time already working as a general advisor on bureaucratic matters in Germany, she delved deeper into the subject and, after extensive research in the area, the idea was materialised: in May 2021, Marina founded Rampa.

In 2016 she moved to Berlin, motivated by the desire to integrate her children, who have German citizenship. Tainá also integrated quickly: she learnt the language and re-qualified in the field of Early Childhood Education, completing her vocational training (Ausbildung) as an educator (Erzieherin) in 2019. She was a teacher in a Kindergarten and international schools, paving the way for bureaucratic issues and social benefits with her own experience. She is also part of the Rampa team to support anyone wishing to follow this path – be it professional transition, family adaptation and/or cultural integration.

Our mission

Our mission is to provide comprehensive assistance and support to immigrants, especially non-EU citizens, arriving in Berlin or anywhere else in Germany.

Breaking down barriers to Germany’s bureaucratic system is our speciality. We want everyone  without exception  to have access a good and fair life in one of the most colourful and affordable places in the world.

We strive to build a more cosmopolitan, more equal society that not only tolerates but celebrates the beauty of human diversity.

Our safe space

RAMPA is a safe space for women, for queer people, for indigenous people, and for anyone of an ethnicity or race that is minoritised in Germany.

We proudly support the causes of anyone who is underprivileged by the society we live in and do not tolerate any form of prejudice: homophobia, sexism, and xenophobia have no place in the RAMPA community.

As firm believers in social justice, we offer prejudice-free and judgement-free support for people embarking on new lives in Germany.
